This summer I’m grateful to be part of the Young Women’s Leadership Challenge (YWLC), a program through the Pangea Network that inspires young women to step up as leaders, advocates, and change-makers in their communities.
As part of YWLC, I’m taking on a “Take Action Challenge”, a project that focuses on an issue I care deeply about. For me, that issue is eating disorders and body dysmorphia.
These struggles affect millions of people, especially teenagers, and it's something that I see every day at school. They don't just affect physical health. They also impact confidence, mental health, and the ability to truly enjoy life. I want to be part of the change by raising awareness and supporting organizations already making a difference.
Fighting eating disorders means more than treatment. It’s about education, prevention, breaking the stigma, and reminding people that every body is beautiful, valuable, and worthy of love.
Through this fundraiser, I’ll be supporting groups that provide recovery resources, run awareness programs, and advocate for better mental health care. Most importantly, they let people know they aren’t alone.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps. Thank you for standing with me in this mission.
