I have an exciting challenge ahead this October! I will be trekking to the Everest Base Camp to raise funds for @The Talent Foundry, a charity dedicated to empowering underserved schools across the UK. By offering fully funded opportunities, they're making a profound impact on the lives of countless young people. I will be trekking for 11 days amongst iconic peaks. It is incredible to believe that in just two weeks out of the office, I will be reaching the base camp of the greatest mountain on earth, Everest. I have to raise a minimum of £3000 by the 1st May and hope to exceed that with your help. How far will my money go?

£1,100 – could help a young person take part in our pre-apprenticeship programme – giving them access to workshops

and coaching to start their journey towards a rewarding career.

£250 – could support 10 young people develop teamwork and problem-solving skills through one of our facilitated

employability workshops.

£27 – could support a young person work with a mentor to build their confidence in writing their CV or interview practice

to apply for further education or employment.

£6 – could pay for a young person’s lunch during one of our insight days or work experience weeks; something many of

those we work with cannot afford to do.
