Dear Friends,
My name is Jennifer Hill, and I’m the proud mother of 10-year-old Evelyn Hill. In March, our family experienced a loss when Evelyn’s great-grandfather passed away in a long-term care facility. During one of our visits, Evelyn noticed a sweet lady carrying a baby doll. That moment sparked something extraordinary in Evelyn’s heart.
She came home determined to make a difference, telling me she wanted to create a program so everyone in need could have their own baby doll. After some research, we discovered Joy for All Companion Pets, lifelike robotic animals designed to bring companionship and comfort. Evelyn knew right away this was how she could help.
Since April, Evelyn’s vision has blossomed. She’s already distributed around 150 companion pets and baby dolls to residents in long-term care facilities, touching countless lives. Her commitment continues to grow, and now she’s aiming even higher.
On November 24th, Evelyn is hosting another Distribution Day at Majestic Care of Bedford, Indiana, a unique facility that serves both seniors and developmentally challenged children. This time, we have a BIG dream: to ensure that every one of the 100 residents receives their own pet or doll.
To achieve this, we need $15,000 by this Monday to cover the cost of these lifelike companions. This is the largest goal we’ve ever set, but Evelyn and I are stepping out in faith, trusting in the power of community and kindness. Joy for All Companion has committed to purchasing the first 10 pets for us to start our fundraising efforts! We are so very thankful for their love and support!
Please take a moment to watch Evelyn’s video from a recent Distribution Day at Jill’s House in Bloomington, Indiana, and see for yourself the joy and comfort these companions bring. Every share, like, donation, or encouraging word helps us get closer to our goal.
Together, we can bring comfort, love, and companionship to those who need it most. Thank you for supporting Evelyn’s Blessings and making this dream a reality!
With gratitude and hope,
Jennifer Hill
