For those that don’t yet know her story, the short version is: Evanna was born in Sept 2016 with spina bifida.

She was in the NICU for 5.5 weeks, then at 4 months, in Iowa City for clubfoot treatment for 7 weeks, and in May 2017, back to back shunt malfunctions had her at Seattle Children’s for 2 weeks.

 She is a precious sparkling beam of personality.  I adore her smile and joy! 

But between the hospital stays, the time away, and out of pocket expenses for equipment, the family’s little savings has been depleted.

 They now have two big things looming:

1 - Evanna is scheduled for another surgery soon (detethering of her spinal cord), which will have her at Seattle Children’s for at least 5 days 

2 - AND they just were notified that the owner of the house they’ve been renting is going to be selling the house, so they have to move by the end of August (with Evanna’s surgery and recovery currently scheduled just before that deadline).

Funds are to help with additional expenses during the hospital stay and to provide moving expenses, deposit, etc.
