A Journey to Survival: A Family Seeking Safety 

My name is Mohammed Alzaharna , a Palestinian from Gaza. I was an accountant, living a stable life with my wife and our two children, Lydia and Ameer. Like any father, I dreamed of a secure future for my family. But on October 7, our lives were shattered. War erupted, and we found ourselves trapped in a nightmare of bombing, destruction, and displacement.

Our home was destroyed, I lost my job, and we were left with nothing. Nowhere in Gaza is safe. We had no choice but to flee to Egypt, but life here is extremely difficult without income or stability. Amid all this hardship, my mother is still trapped in Gaza, suffering under the
relentless bombing and starvation. My greatest wish now is to rescue her and secure a new, safe future for my family in Europe, the UK, or the US.

Our journey to safety is challenging and expensive, but with your support, we can rebuild our lives. Your donation will help us evacuate my mother from Gaza and provide shelter, education, and a dignified life for my children, far from the horrors of war.
