Eva and Pedro's Dream

Hi! We are Pedro Aguilar and Eva Díaz. We live in Baja California, in the small fishing community of San Juanico- know to some as Scorpion Bay. We are a couple of 40 and 36 years old, and have been together for 14 years. Pedro is a seasonal fisherman and I am a teacher in our small community.
We have been trying for about 10 years to get pregnant, without success, trying various hormone treatments and various doctors, without ever really having answers as to what was happening and why we were continually unsuccessful.
At one point a doctor coldly told me I had 3 options:
Going through complex treatments to conceive, adopt or don't have children.
Without actually telling me that I was the reason we were not getting pregnant, but this was when I realized that the problem was me. And that was difficult to accept, especially without knowing what the actual problem was. At that time we made the decision to stop trying for a while and “relax”.
We had no idea how to move forward or how much it could possibly cost. Once I began looking at what the best options for us would be we quickly realized it would be nearly impossible for us to pay for treatment.
After 4 years of saving money, borrowing money, and with the support from family and friends, we embarked on our first attempt at in vitro with a doctor in Ensenada. This doctor provided me with the diagnosis of Ovarian Failure, which meant that the only way for me to have a baby would be with in vitro fertilization. We put all of our hopes into this opportunity, as we had drawn on all of our resources- relying on the kindness and generosity of our dear family and friends.
When it failed, we were devastated. We were financially in debt, and weighed down by the knowledge that we might have lost our one chance to become parents. We had no choice at this time but to give up on this dream of having a family, both being forced to hide the tears and pain every day.
But all was not lost, last year a new opportunity of hope appeared in our life, when a woman on the internet told me about a place called "INGENES" who after being treated in this clinic was the happy mother of twin babies of 10 months. Something about his story gave me a new spark of hope.
After 3 years since our failed IVF attempt, I was ready to try again. Although we knew it would be more difficult the second time, we carry the same faith and hope that somehow we can make this dream come true and bring home a baby of our own.
The only problem is its cost of approximately $ 20,000 USD, which is an amount of money impossible to solve for us. And this is where we stop to ask for help and let everyone know that we would be infinitely grateful if they want to cooperate in our cause.
We will never give up in search of our dream, thank you for your time.
