Hi, my name is Bradley and my daughters name is Hazel

From November 2021 to January 2025 I was wrongly denied and withheld from being in her life while the other party completely alienated me in Hazel’s life. Over the course of this time Hazel, my family and I have lost years that we can never get back, as well we have incurred significant legal expenses and mental and emotional stress. I have faced several false allegations which have all proven to be false over this time. Numerous days in court; seemingly always being adjourned or new allegations arising on or around the day before a court proceeding; which has impacted the progress of our file, increased costs and lengthened the time we all went without seeing or speaking to Hazel. My grandmother and Hazel’s great-grandmother was 90 years old when this first started and God willing, she has turned 94 in April, but sadly Hazel lost her great grandfather during this period of no contact. Finally, in October of 2024 we started a 4.5-day trial which ended November 2024. On January 3, 2025, I received the Reasons for Judgement as well as the Court order which was 100% in my favour. Over course of this litigation I've had being interviewed by MCFD Social Workers , RCMP officers, paid over $25,000.00 for a phycologist to complete a Section 211 report/Views of the Child; and all of these parties reached the same conclusion, that it was in the best interest of Hazel to not have me erased from her life but to continue the relationship that me and my family have had with Hazel since she was born. Unfortunately, the other party in this proceeding never follows the rulings of the Judge or the opinions of professionals and continues to make every attempt to go against the January 03, 2025, court order in a continual attempt to erase us from Hazel’s life. Even after the Judges reasonings and decisions which include a warning to the other party that any further antics would be reason to reverse the Hazel’s primary residence I’m now faced with more false allegations (which were predicted by both experts and the Judge) and further court proceedings. Again, these most recent allegations have come back to be false and non substantiated. Anytime a new allegation arises or court proceeding it costs myself at minimum $15,00.00 and over the course of the last 4 years I have spent well over $250,000.00. I have worked 2 jobs and ran a business at the same time just to try and keep up with the legal bills. I have been fortunate to have my lone parent Leanne invest her entire life and retirement savings to help pay the legal costs to date. My 94-year-old grandmother has given me my inheritance in advance as well as lend me money. I have had other family members and friends give me over $30,000.00., as this is how much the people in Hazel's life and individuals who have never met her have been moved by our story and wanted to help in the legal battle for her. Today we are without options and resources to continue to do what is best for Hazel, which at the very least is to continue being in her life but the best outcome we can hope for is to get a reversal of custody. I believe that Hazel needs to be able to be a 7-year-old child without a worry in the world, but I also believe that is impossible if she continues to reside with her mother. Many people have suggested a go fund me prior to this juncture but I told myself out of pride that I would not make take this route unless it was my absolute last choice. Hazel has been coming to the Sunshine Coast since February 7, 2025, with her most recent visit this past weekend for Easter. She has loved spending time with her large family again and has made new friends here. I have been informed by many 3rd party organizations that this is the best place for Hazel to reside and I am filing a court application to have primary residency of Hazel. Doing this is going to cost upwards of $75,000.00 to $150,000.00. I am not just asking for myself or my family, but most importantly for Hazel! No amount is too little to help us do what is best for Hazel.
