Hey everyone this is Julie, as many of you know from following my page, Eureka’s own “born and raised” local Ramona Capps is critically ill and in the ICU in Fredericksburg, VA. A simple sore throat has become life threatening bacterial meningitis, ventriculitis, and MRSA which have all attacked her body, brain, and spine.

She is currently in a sedated state on a ventilator and receiving many IV antibiotics to fight the infections. She will be in the hospital for many weeks as she fights to come back to us. My work has been great and supportive so I have been here with her since Sunday when she had surgery to drain an epidural abscess on her spine. Obviously these are not expenses we had planned on (especially while in the middle of a remodel).

Thank you all for the outpouring of love and support. You know I am not good at asking for help so I do appreciate all the offers which is why I created this account for her.
