Last Friday, exactly one year after we last held Ethan, Amazon donated $40,000 in Amazon gift cards to the families of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in honor of Ethan. We are so grateful to have found an ending to our Amazon story that allows us to share Ethan with the 400 families that will receive $100 Amazon gift cards.
Ethan has given us the ability to love deeper and opened up our hearts to those many different losses and hardships that affect people around us. He has inspired us to persevere and live with the kindness, love, courage and strength he shared with us. We hope Ethan and this story encourages you…but we also hope this story doesn’t end here.
We have created a fundraiser so that we fund gift cards to more families and care givers taking care of their child in the hospital. This first started with the kindness and generosity that was imparted onto us during Ethan’s hospital stays, and we hope that this inspires you to convert this story into even more love and support in tribute of Ethan.
