CARING FOR HEART PATIENTS IN WESTERN REGION, GHANA

People with heart problems have been dying helplessly for many years without proper diagnosis, treatment and the absence of cardio equipment and machines. The rich, who can afford, have to travel 188 kilometers (117 miles) to Accra, the Capital of Ghana, to seek cardio help. Those who make this long journey only find out that they lose their lives halfway through the journey. The poor who cannot go anywhere end up dying needlessly in the hospital, which can be avoided if they get the needed care.

 

The fortunate intervention has occurred.  A Physician Specialist with Cardiology Training in the Western Region is here to save our community.  All he needs urgently are cardio equipment, tools and machines to help him stop this menace of heart ailments and deaths. With these machines, a lot of lives will be saved, and unexplained dying of miners, port workers, farmers, civil servants, the aged, the poor and the vulnerable will be eradicated.

 

It is for this reason that the Sekondi-Takoradi Progressive Club Global (STPCG), a global Organization headquartered in the United States, is raising money to purchase cardio machines to benefit the people of the Western Region of Ghana and beyond.
