We are coming together to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk with a memorial at Utah Valley University, the site of his tragic shooting. I'm organizing this with my brother, Presten Stevens, who is a UVU student who witnessed the event. This memorial will create a lasting space where people can gather, reflect, and remember, with his words at its heart:
“When people stop talking, that’s when violence happens.”
These words call us to remember the power of dialogue, understanding, and connection over division and hate. By inscribing them on this memorial, we hope to create not only a tribute to Charlie but also a reminder to future generations of the importance of open conversation.
All contributions will go directly toward the design, approval, and construction of the memorial. The university has approved our proposal. I will be managing and distributing the funds.
Your generosity will help ensure that Charlie’s vision of a society grounded in dialogue continues to inspire future generations. Thank you for standing with us in carrying forward this legacy.
