Together, we connect people in Haslington, Winterley, and surrounding areas to each other and offer opportunities to support the community.   
Our aim is connecting people requiring support to neighbours who can assist.

Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic with so many vulnerable people isolating, people with possible symptoms self-isolating, etc it's even more important we look out and help each other.

We are built on the principle that at any time, any community member could need support or have something to contribute.  

We acknowledge the power of kindness and empathy.

The Haslington Volunteer Group was established at the very early stages of the country going into lockdown and as such, has already assisted hundreds of residents with some of the most basic yet important tasks - from collecting their prescriptions, essentials shopping, hospital appointment transportation, providing emergency food/funds and so on.   These may only be small things to most of us ordinarily, but to those staying safe from the Virus - means the World.

We believe that the impact of what we are living through at the moment will have an impact on more and more people and we want to be able to help each and every person in need if we can.

Your generosity will allow us to help more people, those in urgent need of food, clothing, bedding, hospital essentials, medicines and so on.
