Essential needs for Twenedurase Ghana
Donation protected
Dear family and friends I hope you are all doing well and staying safe!
It has come to my attention that the partial lockdown in Ghana due to Covid-19 is having a huge toll on the local people in my hometown, Kwahu Twenedurase, a town in the Eastern Region in Ghana, West Africa. Sadly a good number of the people, especially the aged and invalid can't even afford two meals a day. The youth are confined in the cities due to the lockdown, and this had has created unemployment and for that matter they are unable to remit funds to relatives in the village.
And so in these trying times, I would like to collaborate with anyone that is willing to extend a helping hand to our people back home (Ghana, West Africa).
Unlike Holland where the government contributes with financial support unfortunately that is not the case in Ghana.
To all my friends I would like you to follow the GoFund link below and donate, no matter how small. I know that here in Holland and Europe many people are in financial crisis as well and I believe sometimes this is the best way to show love and compassion in trying times.
I have credible and reliable persons back home whom I shall send the funds to for them to buy goods: bags of rice, beans, maize, sugar, salt, cooking oil, bottled water, canned tomatoes, sanitizers and other basic essentials.
There will be videos and pictures of what the contributions were used for. The need is very urgent.
Your giving will definitely lift up the spirit of the people and put a smile on their faces!
