Esperanza Houses - Sober Homes For Sufferers

Esperanza Houses, Inc. is a group of men and women who formed a 501(c)(3) in an effort to help put together a new sober homes in Kingsland, TX, Austin, TX and Killeen, TX.

The first of three homes will initially house an average of 10 men (Kingsland, TX) who have either just completed rehab and/or completed a recovery program and are in need of housing while recreating their lives and gaining independence.

Our second home, hopefully coming in mid 2023, will address the same needs for women in the Austin, TX area. Killeen will be a men’s home and a semi-working ranch to add additional value and skills to any client’s individual’s recovery.

Currently, our 501c3

status has been approved and confirmed by the State of Texas. Esperanza Houses is now capable of offering tax receipts for your future tax

purposes.

Currently, as of 05/11/2023:

1) We have to meet a property taxes exceeding $8,300.

2) We have a 3 bedroom 3 bath house that has been fully furnished, yet we’re still attempting meet the highest of standards required by rehabs and/or law enforcement/judicial entities to send their clients and cases to our facility. We are not a “flop” house. We care about our clients and their progress toward a better future.

3) Esperanza House is also needing to acquire insurance - both home and auto (we’ve had a large van donated) and additional securities and certifications to be a sober home entity that meets the standards of a trustworthy and fully operational facility in Texas.

At the end of the day, my sincere hope is that Esperanza House will thrive in the years to come and will always be here to serve those in need until that day, that might just possibly come, that addiction is no longer a destructive scourge in need of eradication.
