D.R. Medical Mission Trip

As a high school student you are faced with the thought of what's next? For us we have found and explored our interests and ideas that make us who we are and have been offered an opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Traveling with a nonprofit Organization, Uno A La Vez, that focuses on orthopedic surgical solutions to third world countries and has touched thousands of lives. 

For me, Cassidy Colvin, my passion is photography and making a difference in the world. I am a high school senior and would love to evoke change as a photojournalist in the future. This opportunity would allow me to explore my interests and participate in photographically documenting the life altering journey of all included.

As for me, Skyla Cieslik,  going on this trip with these highly skilled doctors would help me with my future endeavors. I am a senior in high school, and my plan is to become a nurse practitioner to help those in need. Going to the Dominican Republic to perform hands on tasks with medical professionals would be a great accomplishment for me. I will be able to assist doctors and give people the care they need, which is great preparation for my future.

In order to participate in this event we are reaching out to you to help us reach our goal of $3,500. This amount would cover the cost of both of our transportation , room and board, and meals. Any additional money that is raised, above our goal will be donated back to the organization.
