Esme and Blaise's walk for mental health
Hi, I'm Esme and throughout May, which is mental health awareness month, my Dad (Blaise) and I have decided to walk 100km to raise money for a cause that sits very close to my family's heart. I started struggling with my mental health when I was 11 and for 18 months I continued to be put through hell with it. Thankfully, after a very long and unpredictable journey and along with help from my friends and family, I'm now back on track. But tragically that's not the case for everybody. 7 in 10 teens struggle with their mental health, yet 70% of teens who struggle can't access the support they need. Young Minds is a charity that fights mental health and aids children and adolescents to get the support they need. This could help so many young people and prevent many more of them from being in distressing and traumatic situations. It would make that change that is desperately needed. Be part of that change and donate even if it's just a pound or two. Any donations would be much appreciated.
