Help Fund The Escutia's Adoption

Hello friends and family!

For anyone who doesn't know us, we are Alec and Melissa Escutia. Ever since we got married in 2020 we have been dreaming of having a family of our own, and have always had the desire to adopt one day. Since God has not given us biological children as of yet, we both feel led to adopt sooner rather than later! We took the first official step towards adoption with an application to a Christian adoption agency. It took a lot of research and prayer but we finally decided that we would pursue adoption from Colombia! If you want to learn about why we chose Colombia you can read more on our website.

We know that international adoption is a long and expensive process and that we truly could not do it without the love and support of our friends and family.

Our first request is your prayers. There are unique challenges involved when it comes to international adoption. Complications are bound to happen, and it may be up to four years before we are able to welcome any little one(s) into our home.

Our second request is for anyone who feels it in their heart to partner with us would give financially, any amount is greatly appreciated. We know that our total goal of $44,655 is intimidating, but we are taking it one step at a time and trusting in God every step of the way. So far, we have submitted the First Agency Fee and the Monitoring & Oversight Fee of $4,525. Currently, we are in the second step of the process and increased our goal to $10,950 to help cover the cost of the Homestudy fees and the Second Agency Fee. Once this has been completed (in 2-3 months) we will be moving on to creating our Dossier to submit to Colombia!
