Imagine a girls' school in rural Kajiado, Kenya, where hope seems scarce and young women face daily challenges that make it difficult to see a bright future.
We are a group of altruistic Mexicans who love art and its connection to social transformation. We plan to carry out an artistic intervention in October 2025 at a school for women located two hours from Nairobi, in a very poor rural area inhabited by the Maasai tribe in Kajiado County.
With your support, this project will transform their school into a dignified and joyful place, a symbol of hope, strength, and creativity. We plan to give the gray surroundings a new look through murals and painting, with the participation of people and artists from the Mexican and African communities, together with the student community.
To this end, we have the support of the Mukuru Art Club in Nairobi, a passionate artistic collective that works every day to change this reality. Through art, they have shown that it is possible to transform lives and communities, inspiring vulnerable young people to dream of a dignified life full of opportunities.
The money raised will be used to purchase materials for refurbishing the spaces, paint, and tools.
