I am Fawzy Al-Qassass, a resident of Gaza, Palestine. I am married and have a child who is not more than two years old. I urgently request your help. The current conflict has left my family displaced and facing difficult circumstances. Your support can make a huge impact on our journey to safety.

I work as a voiceover artist despite the difficulties I faced due to the amputation of my left hand as a result of the barbaric bombing of the family home in the 2008-2009 war. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing 2023 war on the Gaza Strip, I lost my dream of living a sound life with my family as my job and my workplace, Awsal Company’s studio. The studio was in Al-Isra Tower which was bombed and turned into pieaces leaving nothing to start with since all the essential equipment and devices and all contracts were lost due to the lack of internet service. Therefore, I now have no source of income to spend on my family and satisfy their daily needs.

The impact of this war on my family is unbearable, as we were forced under fire to leave our home which is in the north of Gaza , then the Israeli army took our home as a place to stay in to shoot people and plan what they want to do next with the area around us. They broke the property of my home and my family’s home, so The ongoing war has not only brought physical destruction, but has also left us facing the harsh realities of hunger, extreme winter cold, and expearincing displacement several times hoping to find a safe place away from being killed or tortured on the hands of the IDF. We are trying to escape with our lives and our children to safety. To let you know, there is totally no safe area in all of Gaza.

In our desperate attempt to find safety, we aim to evacuate our family of 13 members out of Gaza, but the financial burden for each person's journey outside Gaza can't be affored, ranging from $8,000 to $10,000.

I humbly seek your support to raise the funds needed to leave to a safer place else than Gaza. Your generosity can provide us with a chance to escape the imminent threats and start a new in a safer environment. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on our journey to safety.
