My name is Kelly. Our daughter Erin had a freak, horrible accident while trying to climb over a fence. As Erin was trying to climb over a fence at her son's football practice to retrieve a ball, her foot got caught and twisted, and when she fell, her ankle twisted and snapped like a stick. The bone literally blew out the side of her foot. The picture is too graphic to show.
We are asking for help while she is laid up and receiving surgery to have this seriously complicated compound fracture repaired. Erin has already had 2 surgeries and will be out of work for what they say could be longer than 12 to 15 weeks. Erin has 3 sons, 14-year-old Zach, 11-year-old Brayden, and 5-year-old Lincoln, who are staying with family. Erin needs help covering household rent, bills, and insurance while she is out of work. FMLA will only cover so much, and it would be sad if her rent and bills were not met while she is dealing with this and laid up. Her children are dealing with this anxiety, not being able to be with mom, and possibly having to move from their home they love and excel in if the bills can't be paid.
We are asking for any help that others can donate, and in return, we will pay it forward when we can and help another family in need.
