Erin & Mia LaMore : Love & Support Fundraiser

Dearest Family and Friends, 

This fundraiser will support Erin & Mia LaMore as they grieve for their cherished husband and father, Aaron LaMore. Their burden is heavy, and we want to help lighten the load. 

On Sunday, November 6th, the LaMore family’s life would change forever. On this beautiful fall day, Aaron and his family set out to collect food items for their daughter’s girl scout troop. Tragically, Aaron fell from his vehicle and fractured his skull. As emergency personal arrived on scene, Aaron worked up the strength to pick himself off of the ground and walk into the ambulance. 

Aaron was transported to Silver Cross Hospital for a CT scan, but with his condition rapidly declining, doctors determined he needed specialized care at the University of Chicago Hospital. While waiting on transportation, Aaron went into cardiac arrest for four minutes. Immediately following, he was airlifted to the University of Chicago, and doctors did all they could. 

Aaron succumbed to his injuries and passed away late Friday, November 11th, Veteran’s Day. Aaron was a veteran and and an organ donor. The University of Chicago held a Hero’s Walk in his honor as he saved multiple lives that day with his donation. He will forever be a hero and champion. 

Aaron leaves behind his wife of 16 years, Erin, and their 12-year-old daughter, Mia. Donations to this fundraiser will assist Erin with expenses, medical bills, and Mia’s future schooling.
