As most of you have already heard, Erik Greene finished his fight with cancer and went home to be with the Lord on October 18th, 2025.

Erik was determined to enjoy as much life as possible. Even in his final weeks, he was picking up new hobbies, trying out new restaurants and asking to go on oyster adventures in San Francisco, despite the pain he was in. In his final months, with the help of a wheelchair and a lot of pain medication, he was still able to make it on numerous trips, including San Diego Comic-Con and Disneyland, two of his favorite places. Erik was an absolute warrior and everything he did right up to the end showed just how much he loved life.

The picture shown above was the last family photo they were able to capture just a few days prior to his passing. This photo is a precious gift from God as it was unknown if Erik would even be able to fully wake up again at this point. Not only did Erik wake up, he even managed to smile for the picture. Priceless.

Mike, Milana, and Eddie did everything humanly possible to provide Erik a quality of life that far surpassed what most could even imagine during his short time here on earth. Erik’s needs, desires and comfort were placed above their own at every possible turn as they did anything and everything within their power to give him all that his heart desired. During these years they attempted to grant Erik as many dreams as possible, what any of us would do for our children if they were in this situation, and that came at a great cost. Although we can all empathize with how painful this must have been to navigate, we will never truly know the depths of what this precious family has had to walk through.

The Greene family has been blessed beyond words by the sheer magnitude of generosity that you all have already shown them including donations, meal drop offs, constant prayer and numerous acts of kindness.
