Eric’s Children’s Future

Donation protected

Hi my name is Alex Valenzuela, I am a friend of the Franco family and Eric’s best friend since we were 10yrs old.

As many of you know, Eric passed away unexpectedly this past Monday. Eric was a kind, loving and compassionate man who lived for his family and gave so much of himself to his community. He made an impact on everyone he crossed paths with.

Eric leaves behind 2 teenage children who he adored and lived for. If you knew Eric, you knew everything he did was for them them.

We are all devastated by this tragic loss and would like to support Eric’s children the best way we can. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations which will be used to provide financial support to Eric Jr and Arianna.

Eric, you will be truly missed.

Eric Brian Franco, 46, of Burtonsville, Maryland passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023.

He is survived by his parents Gerardo and Pilar Franco; Sisters Annie, Jessica and Erika; Brothers Bryant, Alex, Alan, Adrian and Steven; Stepmom Sylvia, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins. aunts, uncles and friends.

Eric is also survived by his two beloved children, Eric Jr and Arianna Franco. His true joy and deepest love in life came when he became a father to them. They gave meaning to his life and he put everything that he had into loving and raising them. He lived for his kids.

Eric was a deeply rooted family man with a love for them that was unmatched. His bond with his family was extremely special and meant the world to him. Rarely was there a conversation that did not include them or an event Eric went to where he wasn’t with them.

He was also a cherished member of the community. As a coach, he left a lasting legacy, having won several football championships with the Olney Boys and Girls Club. As a mentor, he helped shape the lives of many of the youth he coached and as a friend to many in the Montgomery County area, he was deeply loved for his kindness, loyalty and how truly genuine he was.

Eric made an impact on all he touched, and made us all better. He will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication and loyalty to those he loved, and the special friendships he formed during his lifetime.

His passing leaves a hole, an emptiness, in the hearts of all of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed.
