Help Me Afford Urgent Brain Surgery

Hi, my name is Erica and I’m reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. I’ve been diagnosed with a rare form of cushions disorder and a brain tumor that needs to be removed as soon as possible. After months of pushing through the pain and symptoms, I can no longer wait—I need brain surgery, and it’s scheduled for June 10th.

As a working mom to a sweet 5-year-old boy, I’ve done everything I can to stay strong and keep going. But this surgery is critical to my health, and I will be out work during recovery which can vary and can’t be determined after the surgery. The out-of-pocket cost for the procedure is $5,100, and the hospital requires payment two weeks before the surgery to keep my spot on the schedule, and the remaining balance due on the day of surgery which is approximately 3 weeks from now.

I’m trying to come up with this amount on my own in such a short time. That’s why I’m turning to my community for help. Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

• My surgery cost

• Post-operative care and follow-up visits

• Essential expenses while I’m unable to work
