Hi everyone, I’m Michael Rodriquez and Im starting this gofundme on behalf of my little brother Eric Rodriquez. On August 16th Eric had major abdominal surgery. The surgical team at UMC in Lubbock, Texas removed about 12in. of his colon and had no choice but to place a colostomy bag. Eric has been off a total of 3 weeks from work, 10 days in the hospital and will have to be off work for a couple months while he recovers from this extensive surgery. The surgical team is very hopeful that they can reverse the colostomy bag in a years time.

We often see gofundme accounts and we never think that we’d be in this type of situation but life hits and well… here we are. So me and my family come before our family, friends and community humbly and graciously asking for help.

If you know Eric you know that he is a great friend, brother, son and especially a great father to Aliyana. Anyone who has encountered Eric knows he has a great heart and is always willing to help someone out without hesitation.
