We started our campaign, helping to raise funds for underprivileged children. We paid off the overdue lunch balances for all of the students at 20 Title 1/Renaissance elementary schools in Hillsborough County in January, 2018.
In March 2018, we provided Spring Break Food Bags for the entire student body of B.T. Washington Elementary in Tampa, Florida. Each bag contained enough food to last the entire 9 days of Spring Break. View the news story here at: https://youtu.be/ftvdntUvvwA
Also in March, 2018, we provided over 30 Spring Break Food Bags to students at James Elementary in Tampa, Florida. The bags were delivered to the school social worker, who distributed the food bags to the students with the greatest need.
Today, we are raising funds to provide food bags to low income children over the summer. Our goal is to provide food on a weekly basis to local children during the summer to eradicate food insecurity within our City.
