My name is Cristiano — also known as Brownsugvr, DJ, Producer, Curator, and founder of ER808.

Since August 2025, ER808 has grown from an underground Brussels event into a multidisciplinary platform dedicated to Batida, diaspora sound systems, and the communities that keep them alive.

ER808 started as an underground, immersive event built around rhythm and movement, a space where people could connect with each other through sound. Today, the project expands across music, film, and cultural storytelling, exploring how Batida travels, transforms, and survives.

What we’re building now :

1 — A new edition of ER808

A hybrid event merging club culture, live performance, visual storytelling, and community.

A space for diasporic voices to stand at the center.

2 — A documentary film

“ER808 – From the Inside Out”

A 20-30 min artistic documentary exploring the roots, evolution, creators, and cross-continental movement of Batida, including questions of transformation, appropriation, and cultural memory.

3 — A cross-city, cross-diaspora strategy

Expanding Er808 across Brussels, Lisbon, Paris, Amsterdam, and diasporic communities shaping global sound.
