Tax deductible
Hello friends & animal lovers! Join me in making a difference for a young kitten named Jayden who is fighting for his life.
Jayden started taking a steady decline in the past 2 weeks. Losing weight, loss of appetite, nauseous, lethargic, low body temp and blood sugar. He had all of the routine things checked and tested but his decline was still a mystery.
We ended up at an ER vet and determined that Jayden was in need of surgery. We elected to move forward with this because Jayden has still been fighting! He has not given up and we feel he was asking us to not give up on him.
He wants to be with his kitten friends, he is eating, purring, being a big biscuit maker, and seeking out his foster parents to snuggle! We felt it was not time to give up on Jayden and that he wasn’t wanting to say goodbye!
Jayden needs surgery! We are believing in him! He has an Intussusception.
He was a stray orphan kitten. His vet care team is thinking that Jayden had many worms and once dewormed they died, however his body had trouble expelling the worms from his system due to their being so many. So the dead worms ended up forming a mass over some time and becoming a foreign body in his intestines which then caused a roadblock in his intestinal tract.
Jayden needs surgery to remove this calcified mass in his intestines, which may require some of his intestines being removed and then put back together. His vet is confident that Jayden will do well in surgery and since a kitten his surgery and recovery can be more successful than an adult animal.
There are so many rooting for Jayden and we know you will too!! Let’s join together in making a difference by supporting Jayden.
I'm raising money for Independent Animal Rescue to help Jayden get the surgery he needs to get through this. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
