Update:

Salym had a setback… honestly, our whole family has. It feels like every other week someone has been sick, and last Saturday I ended up in the hospital after a 6cm ovarian cyst ruptured. It’s been incredibly painful and has put me out of work for the last 4 days.

Right now we’re just trying to stay afloat and get through this rough season. If you’re unable to donate, I completely understand but prayers, shares, and support truly mean more than you know. We need all the strength and help we can get right now.

This is honestly so hard for me to write. Asking for help is something I struggle deeply with — but I’m truly at my last option right now.

About seven months ago, I had to resign from my job to care for my daughter. She has an autoimmune disease and was constantly getting sick, catching every illness that came her way. After many doctor visits, they decided to remove her tonsils and adenoids. For a little while, it helped — but recently, everything has started again. She’s been sick on and off for weeks, and I’ve had to miss multiple days of work to care for her, which means missing paychecks too.

During that time I was out of work, I launched my personal training business, RecompX Athletics, to support my family. It’s something I’m truly passionate about and still building, but it hasn’t fully taken off yet, and I fell behind on bills. Recently, I was blessed to start a new job implementing ABA therapy for children with autism — a job I absolutely love and feel called to do. But between catching up from the past few months and now missing work again due to my daughter’s health, I’m struggling to stay afloat.

I’m also starting over completely after a breakup that left me rebuilding everything from scratch. I’m trying to create stability for my kids and keep our home — the one place where they finally feel safe and at peace. The house is already in my name, and I have a two-year lease on it, so moving isn’t an option. I just need help getting caught up so we don’t lose the progress we’ve worked so hard for.

If you know our story, you know how far we’ve come: overcoming domestic violence, rebuilding from the ground up, and finding healing, safety, and faith again. This home means more than just walls — it’s peace, stability, and a new beginning after years of instability.

I’ve done everything I can — worked extra hours, taken on clients, and explored every possible option. But right now, I just can’t do it alone. If I can get caught up, I can stay current moving forward and continue providing the life my kids deserve.
