Hurricane Milton brought devastating flooding, and my brother Tyler’s home was completely submerged. He’s lost everything—his belongings, his home, and a sense of normalcy. In the photo, you can see us wading through waist-deep water, doing our best to rescue our moms cats (who were living there because her home flooded during Hurricane Helene).

This fund will help Tyler begin to rebuild. Unfortunately, insurance is unlikely to cover the full costs of rebuilding his home, and it certainly won’t cover replacing everything he’s lost.
