This go fund me is being set up for my parents in hopes to alleviate their current financial burden. As many of you know my Dad had surgery on his foot. His wounds were not healing, and developed sepsis, which was a very scary experience. The past few months have been a litany of doctor visits and medical bills. He still has a long road to full recovery, even after his second surgery to remove the infected tissue. Sadly, my family has struggled with medical bills, transportation costs, and lost wages (my mom is retired due to health issues and Dad’s disability has yet to be approved). Even when long term disability is approved, they will have limited income paid once a month. So, funds raised will help them make ends meet during this trying time. While I try to help my parents, it isn’t enough and they will not ask for help. They have a hard time accepting help from anyone, as many of you know. The last few months have been a constant roller coaster of emotions and while he is better, he is still not out of the woods. I am hoping this will help him focus on his recovery and not be stressed about finances.
