I am very excited to invite you to support my Eagle Scout Project that will serve the West Valley Food Pantry and Prince of Peace Church in Woodland Hills. The outdoor message center will replace a wooden bulletin board constructed as a prior Eagle Scout project years ago. The two-sided bulletin board will be constructed from recycled high-density Polyethylene plastic. The material is impervious to water, chemicals, and insects. Polyethylene plastic is UV resistant and provides decades of undiminished use from direct sunlight exposure. Solar Powered LED lighting will be added to the notice board by anchoring lights on the top of the structure. The message center board will be centrally located on the church campus providing information for both the Prince of Peace Church and West Valley Food Pantry. The goal is to raise $5,000.00 to complete the project.
