Help Our Family Return To America

Dear brothers/sisters in Islam,

My name is Acacia Hodge, my family and I are currently studying full-time in the blessed city of Tarim, Hadhramaut, Yemen, where we live with our two young children. Alhamdulillah we recently learned about the exciting news that I was expecting. This gofundme was origanlly created In order that I and the baby have access to any necessary medical care, Insha Allah for the delivery to be in America. Sadly in the midst of raising funds I suffered from a miscarriage which caused to me stop collecting funds. Almost a week later my eldest sister Marisha Hodge whom many of you’ve had the pleasure of knowing, that has been bravely battling breast cancer passed away on January 24th 2025. I am now requesting that you generously donate whatever you are able to in order to help me and my family travel to the U.S to comfort our grieving family members and so I can visit my sister grave and read Quran for her as that was my goal before her sudden passing. We are asking for $12,000 USD which will cover flights from Yemen and back as we still have work to do in assisting the ummah. I pray that everyone who contributes is blessed along with his or her loved ones in both this world and the next and that everything we do is done with sincerity. May Allah ﷻ grant us all closeness to Him and His Messenger ﷺ
