This fundraiser for the Ennis Lions Skatepark is created by MSU students in the Guerrilla Advertising class to support building a new skatepark in the rural town of Ennis, Montana (pop. 1,081). The Ennis community and MSU students collaborated to develop unexpected ideas to promote the next step of funding. All the money from this GoFundMe will go directly to build and promote the new skatepark in Lions Park.
Land is Donated + Design Complete
The local Lions Club has generously donated a triangle piece of land in the park that is the perfect size for a skatepark. The construction firm, Dreamland Skateparks has been selected for the project with the initial drawings already complete. Dreamland is very well known in the industry, creating features in more than 7 countries across the globe and 20 states in the USA.
Students Driving the Project
This student center project combines the energy of both high school and college age students. Collaborating together on one immediate goal: raise money to build a skatepark for the town’s current and future generations.
GoFundMe Goal is $20,000
This GoFundMe page is dedicated to raising the next $20,000 adding to the previous donations of $67,000 already made by the community and Montana Pool Service. Enabling the Ennis Lions Skatepark to pursue additional matching fund opportunities to reach the ultimate construction cost of $327,000. In this way getting one step closer to reaching the total construction goal, and keep the community momentum moving forward.
