Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings on behalf of the Groot and Ryder Families! On January 27, 2015, our granddaughter, Enna Wren Groot, the daughter of Jordan and Nycki (Ryder) Groot, was born with a serious medical condition, specifically, Spina Bifida. Enna, now 8 years old, attends Alward Elementary School in Jenison, MI. The family continues to transport Enna and siblings in a traditional minivan.

THE CHALLENGE: Safely transporting Enna and her wheelchair! An Adaptable Van with a lift is now a necessity and would be a HUGE BLESSING for Jordan and Nycki and their family!

WOULD YOU CONSIDER BEING PART OF THE SOLUTION? We need to raise $70,000 to purchase the adaptable van. As our major summer fundraiser, Bob Groot will be riding his bicycle trip across Iowa, as part of the annual “RAGBRAI” ride. Bob will be pedaling 500 miles, from Sioux City, IA to Davenport, IA, over 7 days! We invite you to participate and encourage Bob by donating $ .10, $.50, $1.00 or more per mile? A total of $100/mile in gifts gets us to our goal! $20,000 of the total $70,000 has been raised so far. All Gifts and Pledges will be used to purchase an Adaptable Van!
