Help fund the Fantasy!
Join the communal effort to support local artists applying for Engulf 2022 Art Grants.
Engulf is a Burning Man-inspired festival in the piney woods of Kentwood, Louisiana. The event is known for its playful and creative art sculptures and installations.
Your gift helps us reach our goal of $5,000 to help support artists that transform our ‘piney playa’ into a magical wonderland.
Artists interested in making art for the event apply for an art grant, and the Engulf board determines how much we can assist them. Art grant amounts range up to $500 (max).
A few examples of past art projects and installations include Josh Pitt’s ‘Kettle Flower’, Linka Odom’s ‘Celeste’ and Brennan Steele’s ‘Dung Beetle' (see above).
This year, James Braendel will be creating the Lotus Temple & Be Still Altar; and Walker Babington and Shana Betz will bring to life The Navagunjara of Southern Bulbancha as our Main Effigy.
Please consider donating to help an artist make a dream a reality…..AND consider participating in this event yourself to see and experience the magic you helped bring to life!
No amount is too small, and we are very grateful for your contribution!
Thank you from the bottom of our piney hearts,
