Stand up and Fight for DuBois

We are a group of citizens who are fed up with this current city Council and their cronyism and corruption.

On behalf of the citizens of DuBois, PA we are retained Dillon, McCandles, King, Coulter and Graham LLP to file an injunction to immediately stop any buy out payment to our former city manager and to stop this lame duck city council from hiring a new city manager and finance director. This city council is doing long term damage to our city and it must stop now. On behalf of the residents of DuBois and Sandy Township, myself, Elliot Gelfand and Jennifer Jackson are on the complaint.

The complaint seeks to keep any payout in escrow until any innocence or guilt is declared in the case against our former city manager. It also seeks to stop any hiring of a new city manager until the new duly elected city council and Mayor are seated.

The cost to just retain them was 15K. We fronted the payment. We aren’t sure yet how much it will cost in total. We have been granted an emergency injunction and the hearing will be Wednesday at 9am.

any money left over will go to the DuBois library.
