End of life cremation and memorial for Dad.

As many may know, my dad has been through hell and back since his first diagnosis of liver failure back in February of 2012. By the grace of god he was able to make it to his first transplant in July of 2014. Unfortunately during that surgery he had complications with his transplanted liver. With just week into recovery we were told his new liver was already failing. The main hepatic veins clotted. Which put us on another long journey of appointments and surgery’s. Trying to keep that liver working. Eventually we made it back to the transplant list. December 2022 just after losing my brother he got the call for a second transplant. The surgery took 2 days to complete. And was full of ups and downs. But he made it through just as god intended. The recovery from that surgery was rough. For months. Up and down. In May of 2023. He was hospitalized. They found a very large tumor in his colon. The removed it and told us it was cancer. He got his diagnosis of stage 5 colon cancer. Still he kept going. We kept fighting. We started treatments. Unfortunately that spread to his new transplanted liver. God said we’re not done here. Keep fighting. And we are. On May 9th he got hospitalized. The tumor has now grown and is adding pressure to his bile ducts. He’s been in and out of it. He’s fought one round of septic shock. He was ok for a few days. Doctors went in to put stents in his liver to hopefully make his life function as it should. Unfortunately that did not work as we hoped. Now he fighting his second round of septic shock this hospital stay. They discovered a hematoma along with the tumor. Both of these together are not allowing his liver to function one side completely. As many know my dad is a fighter. He’s touched the life of many. He’s not giving up. He said god is not done with me yet. He needs me here on earth. I ask that you all keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He is very sick right now. I pray our god can pull a miracle. I will try to keep everyone updated as I can.
