End of an Era- Tyra & Tom rebuild their lives.

Friday night, the home our parents have cherished for 50 years—the place where we grew up—was devastated by a fire. We are eternally grateful that they are safe. Most of the home and generations of keepsakes were destroyed by flames, smoke, and water.

We are overwhelmed by the love and support from our incredible family, friends and community. Many have generously offered, asking how they can assist. We believe this is one clear way to offer support as we begin the long process of assessing the losses and rebuilding their lives.

It is in moments like these, we realize that material possessions are fleeting illusions. Our true purpose is found in the connections we share, rooted in love, compassion, and the unity of our souls.

So many were devastated by hurricane Helene this week. Our prayers go out to all who were in its path of destruction and others who are also now rebuilding their lives.
