We are the family of the displaced Palestinian Hossam, survivors of the genocide that devastated the Gaza Strip. Our family consists of eight members, and we are currently living in a modest tent that is unfit for human habitation. It lacks a proper sewage system and does not provide a suitable place for personal hygiene,in harsh conditions that exceed human endurance. Before the war, our family lived in a home that represented our lifelong dream — a place filled with warmth, love, and togetherness. Sadly, that dream was completely destroyed during the brutal war on the Gaza Strip. Our home was reduced to rubble, and we lost all of our belongings and memories, leaving us with nothing but pain and suffering.

Today, we are living through severe humanitarian conditions, and we sincerely appeal to kind-hearted people and humanitarian supporters to stand by our side and help provide the basic necessities of a dignified life for our devastated family.

The complete lack of basic human necessities such as hygiene, healthy housing, clean water, and a safe environment has greatly increased our suffering and led to the spread of skin diseases, gastrointestinal illnesses, and parasites. The worn-out tents and the ruins of destroyed homes have also become breeding grounds for rodents and harmful insects, and we are no longer able to combat them due to our severe financial hardship.

The war continues in various forms, including the ongoing siege of the Gaza Strip, continuous shelling, a lack of humanitarian aid, widespread unemployment, and a severe shortage of food and medicine, coupled with exorbitant prices that have left our family unable to afford basic necessities.

Our family’s situation has become even more difficult because its sole provider suffers from chronic illnesses, and the family has lost all of its savings throughout the course of the war, leaving us unable to bear the overwhelming burdens of daily life.

We are your brothers and sisters in humanity, so please do not leave us alone to face these countless forms of suffering. We are struggling to endure the hardships of life on our own, and your support is urgent and essential.
