Read and Rise Ltd is organising Ramadan Taraweeh prayers for the local community, led by our youth students under the guidance of Ustadh Mohamed. We are raising funds solely to cover the cost of hiring a suitable venue for these prayers.

This fundraiser is organised on a cost-recovery basis only and is not intended to generate profit.

This fundraiser is for a specific, one-off expense: venue hire for Ramadan Taraweeh prayers, with a total required amount of approximately £5,000–£5,500.

The main breakdown of costs is:

Venue hire: £4,350

Water & refreshments: £750

Small incidental costs relating to Taraweeh

The purpose of organising Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan is to give our youth students practical experience in daily Qur’an recitation, strengthen their confidence, and develop their leadership skills. Through this initiative, our students will lead prayers and inspire younger children, nurturing responsibility, character, and faith.

“وجعلناهم أئمة يهدون بأمرنا، وأوحينا إليهم فعل الخيرات وإقامة الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وكانوا لنا عابدين.” (الأنبياء: 73)

All funds raised will be used only for venue costs and incidental expenses directly related to Taraweeh, and will be paid directly to the venue.

Read and Rise Ltd is not a registered charity, and donations to this fundraiser are not charitable donations and are not eligible for Gift Aid.

We are committed to full transparency. Relevant invoices and receipts will be retained, and if the full amount is not required, any surplus will be handled transparently and in line with the stated purpose of this fundraiser.
