My name is Jonika, and I’m starting this fundraiser from a deep calling I received from the Lord to help women. My journey has been filled with challenges—health scares that shook my world, financial instability, and the constant hustle just to make ends meet. Growing up, I watched my single mom work tirelessly, sacrificing time with me so she could provide for our family. As I got older, I found myself making tough job choices out of necessity, working 60-80 hour weeks in roles that left me exhausted and unfulfilled.
Everything changed when I became a Christian during a health crisis that nearly upended my life. I lost work, struggled to pay bills, and found that government help just wasn’t enough. Through my healing process, God restored my strength and gave me a new purpose: to partner with Him in lifting the burdens that so many women carry. As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned the importance of balancing work, life, and joy—and I want to give other women that same opportunity.
With your support, I hope to open a ministry that will feed the less fortunate, create a welcoming space for women, and host events like dinners, vendor fairs, spa days, baking classes, game nights, and business networking. I also want to help women pursue their dreams through educational opportunities, covering school fees and program costs, and offer my own baking classes. Funds will also help expand my business with a food truck, storefront, and the equipment needed to reach more women. By investing in myself, I can grow and help others in even more ways.
