Empowering Women & Children at Inn Transition South

Hi! We’re Ariana Sosa, Arya Luthra, and Amayelle Sock — three students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Gulliver Preparatory School. As part of our year-long service project, we’re committed to making a meaningful impact in our community by supporting Inn Transition South, a transitional housing facility for women and children recovering from domestic abuse or homelessness.

Our goal is to empower these women by hosting a series of workshops led by local business owners and entrepreneurs. These sessions will focus on essential life and professional skills — from interview techniques to personal presentation — to help build confidence and independence.
While the women participate in the workshops, we’ll be organizing engaging, hands-on activities for their children, including arts and crafts, games, and sports for older kids. To bring everyone together, we also plan to sponsor a warm, nourishing meal for all the women and children to share.

To make this project possible, we’re aiming to raise $2,000. Every dollar will go directly toward supplies for the children’s activities and the meals we’ll provide.
We’re deeply passionate about this cause and would be incredibly grateful for your support. Any donation — big or small — will make a difference.

Thank you for helping us give back to our community and support these brave families as they rebuild their lives.
— Ariana, Arya & Amayelle
