Empowering Tanzanian communities build a better future

William's journey. It's time for me to give something back, I was born with Sagittal Craniosynostosis and had extensive surgery as a baby and continue to need treatment. Many people and organisations have helped me along the way. Now that I am a little bit bigger I want to start giving back and help others in need, I see the expedition as an excellent opportunity to help communities in Tanzania overcome their challenges and give them a better future.

I am raising funds to travel to Tanzania for 4 weeks of volunteering with Camps International in July 2026. The focus will be on working with local communities on important environmental and community projects, developed in partnership with local people to create sustainable change. We will be staying in African Banda camps in the heart of rural Tanzanian villages, maximising our time with local communities. The trip will also allow me to experience new activities and challenges during the planned breaks.

I will be working to earn some money as well as running fundraising events to help pay for this volunteering expedition.
