Empowering Students in India: Support Emma's Journey
Donation protected
The time has come! It has been nearly seven years since I last visited India, and my heart longs to return. Over the years, Grace English School has grown tremendously, now serving 200 students from kindergarten through 8th grade and providing even more opportunities for underprivileged children. Supporting this school is not just a passion of mine—it’s a lifelong commitment.
Grace English School, founded by my Grandma Carol and Aunt Lori in Assam, India, has been transforming lives for over a decade. Today, 200 children receive a completely free education, along with nutritious meals, uniforms, and school supplies—all made possible by generous donors. In India, many families cannot afford schooling, leaving children vulnerable to poverty and human trafficking. Grace English School gives them a brighter future by teaching them to read, write, do math, and even speak English—a skill that opens doors to better opportunities and higher wages.
My grandma and I are planning to go in September 2025! During my time there, I will be serving in multiple ways, primarily working with the preschool class, teaching nutrition, and leading sports activities. But this trip is also an important step in ensuring the future of Grace English School. I will be learning more about the daily operations and what it takes to continue its legacy, so that we can keep providing life-changing education for generations to come.
This is a life-changing opportunity, and any support you can provide will make a meaningful impact. I am deeply grateful for every donation, no matter the amount. Thank you for helping make this journey possible!
With gratitude,
Emma
