Empowering Kids & Families in the Philippines!

Hi everyone! My name is Jonathan. I'm an American travel content creator from the US living in the Philippines. I wanted to use my social media platform to help raise awareness for the inspiring work being done here in the Philippines by the child sponsorship organization Heart For Home! They are working with a local school to ensure the kids from four different communities receive an education, healthy meals, healthcare services, hygiene, positive role models, and much more!

Before their involvement in the communities, many of the kids weren't attending school at all. The school not only works with the children but also with the parents in the communities!

This program isn’t just about providing temporary relief—it’s about empowering families to create a sustainable future. Parents have received essential tools like fishing nets and diving masks for spear fishing, helping them support their families. Mothers take an active role in the school by volunteering, ensuring their children and others receive the education they deserve. Families are also given resources and training to start small businesses, helping them build long-term stability.

This isn’t about simply handing out money or food for a day—it’s about equipping families with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive on their own.
