Empowering Girls in Tanzania: Support Education and Dignity

Hello, my name is Giulia, I am 22 years old, and I am currently volunteering in Tanzania.

Part of my work here involves visiting secondary schools to educate students about human rights and women's rights.

Over the next few weeks, my fellow volunteers and I will be visiting several schools, primarily for girls, with the goal of providing essential items they need.

One of the biggest challenges here in Arusha, and in Tanzania more broadly, is ensuring that girls can afford school fees. Many families would rather have their daughters marry and start a family instead of continuing their education.

Our goal is to raise funds to purchase school supplies, hygiene products, and clothing for these students.
