Empowering Families Facing Unplanned Pregnacies

Hi! My name is Amber, and I am seeking to raise $10,000 to help black families in need. Here is a little about a pregnancy help ministry I started in 2021 named, Laura’s Loft.

Laura's Loft Pregnancy Resource Center is a faith-based 501 (c)3 that seeks to holistically support families experiencing unplanned pregnancies of African descent by providing love, material assistance, and life-transforming resources. Laura's Loft was founded to in memorial of my friend, Laura Araujo. Laura was a woman who believed in serving through God’s love, grace, and transformative action to those who were going through hardships. In step with Laura's legacy, Laura's Loft seeks to provide a non-judgemental, safe space for those considering their pregnancy options. Realizing our clients' life circumstances , we strive to provide evidence-based pregnancy options education, material assistance, and long-term support with the intention of giving much-needed hope. We believe in serving with integrity and empowering each family with the tools they need to transform their lives.

Our life-affirming programs will provide at no-charge: pregnancy confirmation services, pregnancy options education, mental health counseling, job training, birth/postpartum doula support, financial coaching, childbirth/ parenting education, post-abortion support, housing referrals, wellness programs, and financial literacy classes. Our agenda will deeply reflect our vision to invest in each family for long-term holistic transformation. We are seeking to raise $10,000 this Giving Tuesday to reach our mission goals.

Here is how your gift will help:

Level 1 - Pregnancy Confirmation

$25- will help provide a free pregnancy test to a family.

$50- will provide a pregnancy confirmation box with the test, pregnancy options material, and transportation voucher (provided to those needing transportation to pregnancy confirmation appointment.)

$75- For those who choose to parent, this donation size will provide a New Parent box. The box will include: diapers, onesies, a gift card to Baby's R Us, first aid kit, parenting resources, and bath items.

Level 2- Accessibility To Critical Help

$100 - Will provide website optimal SEO, marketing, and option line services to be easily accessible to those seeking critical help.

$150- Will help provide educated, trained, and loving staff to holistically walk beside each family for long term support.
