H-A-P-P-Ē was founded by licensed psychologist John Beiter, Ph.D and Dr. Peta Stapleton. The H-A-P-P-Ē Challenge is an evidence-based program that puts the tools needed to manage stress in the hands of children and demonstrates their ability to shape the world around them and build healthy relationships by first reshaping their minds.
H-A-P-P-Ē is a digital interface for parents and teachers who choose to opt in to support their children’s health, growth, and success. The program was designed to be easily integrated into the school day and provide teachers and parents with on-going support through a variety of avenues, both digital and non-digital.
HAPPĒ’s holistic approach to overall well-being and academic/life success is twofold:
1) The Mission I'm Possible Challenge: Through weekly "top secret" missions delivered to parents' and teachers' phones, Mission I'm Possible encourages children to engage with the people around them, focus on their feelings, and perform little acts of kindness. In doing so, they'll learn how to better manage and understand all the thoughts and feelings that pop into
their heads and realize their ability to spread positivity, form relationships with their peers, and reshape how they view difficult situations.
2) EFT Tapping : EFT (emotional freedom technique) Tapping is backed by 20 years of clinical research as a method to reduce and manage stress and anxiety in children and in adults. EFT Tapping is widely accepted in European schools and is beginning to gain traction in schools throughout the US. A 2018 study showed that EFT Tapping had the following results:
✔ Reduce anxiety by 40%
✔ Reduce cortisol by 37%
✔ Reduce depressed feelings by 40%
✔ Increase happiness and positivity by 31%
Your donation will go towards building an app for children, parents, and teachers to help children manage anxiety and other stressors whether they’re in the classroom or schooling from home.
Both programs have already been adopted in classrooms across the world - we want to plant the seed of positivity as widespread as we can to reach children regardless of where they are in the world.
We know that it takes a village to raise HAPPĒ, healthy, and successful children, teachers, and parents. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for your kindness, support, and belief in our program, and for believing in our children for the powerful, independent, and capable changemaker that they are.
Thank you again for your support!
