Hijos del Viento is a community-driven program based in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, serving children from impoverished and drug-impacted communities. Through mentorship and hands-on experiences in windsurfing and other water sports, we create a safe and inspiring environment where kids can build confidence, resilience, and a sense of possibility. Our mission is to help them recognize their ability to rise above their circumstances and pursue their dreams. As we grow, we need support to be able to pay storage for our equipment, snacks and water for after our sessions, swimming lessons as we are able and to be able to pay our instructors. This support will allow us to continue showing these young people that their future can be bigger than the challenges they face.
